{"id":1488,"date":"2022-03-24T18:51:31","date_gmt":"2022-03-24T16:51:31","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/studiokarakashyan.com\/%d0%bf%d0%be%d1%81%d0%bb%d0%b5%d0%b4%d0%bd%d0%b8%d1%8f%d1%82-%d0%b7%d0%b0%d0%bb%d0%b5%d0%b7\/"},"modified":"2026-07-24T11:48:15","modified_gmt":"2026-07-24T08:48:15","slug":"the-last-sunset","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/studiokarakashyan.com\/bg\/the-last-sunset\/","title":{"rendered":"The Last Sunset"},"content":{"rendered":"<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-video is-provider-vimeo wp-block-embed-vimeo wp-embed-aspect-16-9 wp-has-aspect-ratio\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"The Last Sunset \/ Goethe-Institut Documentary\" src=\"https:\/\/player.vimeo.com\/video\/734551541?dnt=1&amp;app_id=122963\" width=\"500\" height=\"281\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"autoplay; fullscreen; picture-in-picture; clipboard-write; encrypted-media\"><\/iframe>\n<\/div><\/figure><p class=\"has-text-align-center\"><\/p><p>The Last Sunset is an immersive dance-theatre performance directed by Kosta Karakashyan, Antonia Georgieva (Studio Karakashyan, Bulgaria), and Carlos Aller (Frantics Dance Company, Germany), which had its premiere within the official program of the 25th edition of the Gabrovo Biennial of Humour and Satire with the theme \u201cEconomy of Means\u201d, in partnership with the Museum House of Humor and Satire, Greenpeace Bulgaria, Environmental Association \u201cFor the Earth\u201d, the Regional Landfill for Non-Hazardous Waste in Gabrovo, Goethe-Institut Bulgaria, Regional Centre for Contemporary Arts \u201cTopocentrala\u201d and Plentix.<\/p><p>The performances took place in the spaces of the Gabrovo Regional Landfill at sunset, transporting the audience into a dystopian future where we did not turn to sustainable energy in time.
