KITCHEN
KITCHEN is an immersive theatre performance combining contemporary dance with a culinary experience. The performance recreates the heated atmosphere and backstage dynamics of the culinary world through the lens of immersive theater, which allows the audience to enter the action before the food is served and experience the extreme situations that normally stay hidden.
In Her Voice
In Her Voice is an immersive dance performance based on the play The Human Voice by Jean Cocteau. Taking inspiration from the classic text, this contemporary retelling places our female protagonist in a living room environment, where the audience becomes a fly on the wall of her personal melodrama in an intimate setting. The work features London-based dancer Marchela-Vasilena Dimitrova, an alumna of Jasmin Vardimon 2 company, and is co-directed by Kosta Karakashyan & Antonia Georgieva.
Silent Technicians
Silent Technicians is a collaboration between Slovenian poet Sergej Harlamov and Bulgarian director and choreographer Kosta Karakashyan, exploring the ghosts of the theatre through a one-woman immersive performance that reveals four personas from the pit of the theatre – the technician, the drunk, the actress, and the ringmaster. Created during the Leap Off Page Festival by the Elizabeth Kostova Foundation which brings together writers and dance artists, the work interprets a poem by Harlamov into an immersive work that takes the audience on a journey throughout the derelict spaces of a ghost theatre.
