Drips
Studio Karakashyan produced and directed the music video for Drips, overseeing the project from concept to final execution. The studio led the creative direction, cast the dancers, and provided full movement direction, shaping a performance-driven visual language rooted in contemporary dance.
Conceived as a physical response to the music, the film centers on six female dancers who embody themes of challenge, resilience, grit, competition, and individuality. Through tightly constructed movement systems, the choreography unfolds as a shifting game between entropy and order—bodies colliding, aligning, and breaking apart in direct dialogue with the track’s textures and rhythms.
Rejecting the convention of foregrounding the DJs, the video places dance at its core, allowing movement to become the primary narrative force. The result is a visceral fusion of music, choreography, and cinematic storytelling, where the dancers function as the living embodiment of the song’s emotional and sonic architecture.
